SMOKE WEAR X FOLKPANTS

As we entered 2021, we asked ourselves, how do we introduce a new collection from SMOKEWEAR.in which is not adding to the growing global warming crisis. The answer – a collaboration between SMOKE WEAR X FOLK PANTS which aims to promote ethical living. We hope to have your support to help us promote the sustainable movement of collecting pre-loved clothing. 

SMOKE LAB, an eco-conscious brand under which SMOKEWEAR.in works with the best Indian talents to create forms and aesthetics that push the ideas of non-conformity, gender identity and fashion functionality whereas Folkpants, a brand from Manipur is a curated mix of second hand and vintage clothes. The idea to work together was to promote sustainability in a meaningful way.

Both the brands worked to rummage through some of the most stylish personal wardrobes to pull out clothes they once lovingly wore but no longer do; to give it another life so that they don’t end up in landfills, causing massive damage to our environment.

The profits raised from this campaign will be donated to ‘I AM GURGAON’ organisation that believes in the same ideas of sustainability and is working towards a better environment. 

Sanya V Jain, creative director of SMOKEWEAR.in says –” ‘Living Responsibly’ is the belief of our brand, we wanted to build a strong platform to talk about moral way of living, through this collaboration we want to drive people into a circular cycle of fashion wherein they can purchase vintage/secondhand clothing.”
